Introducing Screen! Our purpose built module that allows secure and automated compliance screening
Journal
The rapidly changing geo-political environment in our world today has put pressure on superannuation funds and other institutions in maintaining up to date screening activities across, Watchlists, Blacklists, Sanctions and Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs).
The Australian government maintains a list of sanctioned individuals, entities, and countries, and it is important for individuals and businesses to comply with these sanctions to avoid legal consequences.
Recognising the growing need for secure, automated, and comprehensive screening, Investigate DQ’s fit for purpose module, Screen; has been designed to help ease pressure on financial and other heavily regulated organisations, while maintaining security and control.
Access to global lists or use your own lists
Whilst we have partnered with a leading provider of several watchlists to give your organisation access to regular, up to date data that includes global entities; Investigate DQ’s purpose-built load functionality can easily plug into any lists, files and data sources currently used by your organisation.
Using the latest available lists ensures that all screening can occur swiftly, and any required measures can quickly follow.
Secure Data
By bringing in the compliance screening lists and various other available lists to our clients, we eliminate a major security concern - personally identifiable and sensitive data leaving the organisation. With Investigate DQ you can rest assured that all associated data remains secure within your organisation’s infrastructure.
All results identified and associated reporting can be limited to select user roles to ensure control and security of managing screening activities.
Automated Screening and customisation
Automatically screen various entities such as Customers, Members, Beneficiaries and Employers on a regular basis. You no longer need to conduct manual screening by collating data, matching and tracking using spreadsheets or other tools Investigate DQ can connect to existing systems within your infrastructure to conduct matching for all entities or a selection as needed, such as new members joining your organisation.
Using our highly customisable Rules functionality, you can customise the matching and thresholds to suit your risk appetite for full and partial matches and ensure valuable results are being identified.
Workflow and Auditability
Capture analysis using Notes functionality, escalate matches when required while an audit trail timeline of identification and updates is automatically maintained. As results progress through the investigation, manage and track their progress using issue and incident workflows and recording the outcomes. Our customisable dashboard and search function allows you to view and track confirmed matches and which are yet to be reported on.
Ad-hoc Screening
As automated screening occurs across data, situations also come up where screening may need to occur manually, either as individuals are yet to be represented in systems or even to cater for paper-based forms. To support this, we have provided search screens within the Screen module to allow you to enter any combination of available criteria to perform searches and view results.
Integration
Investigate DQ has been developed using modern architecture and design principles making it easy to integrate with your existing reporting and systems. This means you can easily retrieve results from the screening to implement flags and processes across multiple technologies for a fully automated solution.
Reporting insights
Track, monitor and report on the screening process using interactive and customisable dashboards including our out-of-the-box reporting module to ensure you are one step ahead on your mandatory compliance, and other screening activities
To ensure our clients can remain compliant and in control of their screening activities , we endeavour to continue growing our end-to-end solution to perform automated and secure screening.
We would love to hear about your data quality and financial crime challenges and see what Investigate DQ can do to help.

Tom
